This Friday, June 18th will be our first ever Wizard of Oz themed performance! After rocking so many fun themed parties across the Northeast I can't believe we haven't done this before but THE TIME HAS COME! =D
NJ's most memorable diva, Lady J will be hosting this night of awesome with additional event magicalness provided by Diego of Evilution Events, Dave Menace, and Xris Smack of Stimulate!
Drawing inspiration from the Wizard of Oz, combining it with visions of steampunk delights, this night is going to be eyecandy all night long! =D
And of course, for fans of a band who love to dress up how could we not have a COSTUME CONTEST!

This Sunday, February 21st will be the Eight Year Anniversary of the Court of Lazarus! This is NYC's longest continuously running noir salon, mixing alternative elegance with vampiric/gothic themes while remaining FUN throughout! We couldn't think of a better way to make up for the snopocalypse that kept many of you from our last show, so come and see what you missed that night!

Everybody loves getting up early (or in my case staying up super late on Xmas Eve to get a sneak attack on them gifts) and unwrapping some presents! The mystery lying behind colorful wrapping and bows is almost too much to bear. Sometimes you get just what you wanted and sometimes you get something so far off the mark that you wonder if your loved ones have been replaced by space alien imposters from another planet!
I got to go on a late night sledding adventure involving beer, leather pants, and being in the park after dark with good friends, sometimes experiences with people you care about is even better than a material object!
So what did you get for the holiday? Was it just what you wanted or something hilariously wrong?

| Boots vs. Sneakers in a zombie apocalypse! |

In a post-apocalyptic world, when zombies rise against the living, what is the ultimate footwear? Let's take a moment to consider the advantages of each.
Advantages for Boots:
PROTECTION: Not only from rain, snow and mud, but also from zombies nipping at your heels! If they try to bite a chunk out of your leg and you've got some sturdy boot leather coverin' em, that can give you the precious extra time you need to eliminate the zombie threat and hightail it out of there uninfected.
STURDY: In a world over run by the undead, you never know when your next chance to restock on footwear will be. A good pair of boots will last you years. Also, good for stompin' their decayed heads in!
Advantages for Sneakers:
SPEED: You're more likely to outrun the hungry, undead masses in shoes that are made for running! Also, less likely to sprain an ankle!
SILENT: The last thing you want is to alert the Zed that there's a walking buffet running around =P Sneakers keep the noise down while you're hoofing it to the next safe house!
So which would you grab on the way out the door to a horrifying new world teeming with Zombies, boots or sneakers?
